Flour Patisserie
We were approached by Kirstie from Flour as she was in the process of expanding her bakery business, opening a brand new cafe venue in St Helier, the remit, to design a new lighting scheme that would make the venue the most Instagrammable cafe in the island with a modern, on-trend, vibe.
We started with meetings in the showroom to discuss options and view the many exciting product ranges available, it was decided to go for a completely bespoke lighting solution to provide the key element, a totally bespoke waveform shape that would lead the customer through the space. Ricoman Lightings FLOW luminaire system would fit this remit coupled with stunning wall lights, and pendant drops above the tables from premium manufacturer Tala Lighting.
The squiggly line on the drawing above was sent to the Ricoman Lighting design department to be transformed into 3D renders which allowed the client to get a true visualisation of what the centerpiece of the venue would look like in reality.
The task of installation was completed by one of the most remound electrical contractors in Jersey, Aston Services, the Aston team assembled and suspended the luminaire as the project began to take shape.

Flour is a modern, independent bakery and patisserie based in Jersey, Channel Islands. Specialising in bespoke artisan cakes and bakes, Flour also provide a wide range of cupcakes and daily treats as well as the new addition of a hot food to order menu including, waffles, pancakes, french toast and more. A full hot and cold drink menu is now on offer with a seasonal changing menu. Whether it’s a birthday, christening or just an excuse to celebrate with cake, we can make something especially for you.
